OUR REAL ESTATE JOURNEY BEGAN IN 2007


Chad first became interested in pursuing real estate investing in 2007 after listening to the audiobook of Rich Dad Poor Dad during his commute to work, where he held a position as an engineer.  While maintaining his full-time job, he decided to form an investment group with several like-minded individuals.  The group purchased its first investment property in Des Moines in 2012 and has continued to grow the business in the Des Moines area, as well as expanding to other cities and states.  Additionally, Chad and his wife, Krissy, started to grow their individual portfolio in 2011. By utilizing the BRRRR strategy, (buy, rehab, rent, refinance, repeat) they have been able to generate profitable cash flow and generate enough passive income to buy properties with cash and continue growing their portfolio. 

Since the journey began, Chad and Krissy have expanded their knowledge of the real estate industry including personal meetings with podcast hosts and individuals rehabbing 20 or more properties/month.  They have also grown their network of property managers, realtors and contractors.  Along with this, came the realization that the Des Moines economy is booming, and there are numerous people interested in the Des Moines housing market as both investors and residents.  But, not everyone wants to spend their time or money on the BRRRR strategy.  With the high rate of returns and historically stable market conditions that Des Moines can provide, investors across the country expressed interest in purchasing properties that were already renovated with a renter in place.  The switch to becoming a turnkey provider was an easy transition.  They, along with their team of contractors, realtors and property management staff, streamlined the process of buying, rehabbing and managing properties.  This system is now providing cash-flowing properties for Chad and Krissy’s personal portfolio as well as for other investors.
